The Food Bank’s premier fall fundraiser returns for its 28th year. The Turkey Trot 5K Run & Walk is a family- and pet-friendly, chip-timed race — and every registration provides a turkey for a family facing hunger this holiday season. It’s billed as a Thanksgiving tradition rooted in gratitude and unity, and it shows: thousands of neighbors lace up together on Thanksgiving morning.

Registration: $40 early (through October 31), $50 after, $55 race day. Kids 4–11 run for $10 with a paid adult; kids 3 and under run free.
